The outcome of this special election in the 45th District will hinge on which side is most aware about mailing in their ballots, so volunteers and donations will help make sure we turn our state blue. So chip in to help Manka’s campaign today.

If you live further away, you can phone bank for her from your own home, just contact her office to find out how. Spread the word. This is most important of all. Your friends, co-workers and family who live in Kirkland, Redmond, Woodinville, Totem Lake, Sammamish, or Duvall, need an email from you now. Reach out now and say something like:
Hi _____! Did you know a special election for State Senate in your area will determine control of the Washington State legislature? Ballots come out next month and this race will have a big impact on funding for our schools, healthcare, and more. The Democratic candidate is Manka Dhingra. She’s a strong candidate with great stands on these issues. So please talk to your friends and neighbors about this election. Let them know that big things locally are at stake, and that it’s incredibly important to mail in their ballots.

You could also let people know that she’s an incredibly accomplished prosecutor, a mental health advocate and an award-winning PTA mom who has lived in the district for many years. Manka’s accomplishments, her hard work, and her desire to fight against the Trump agenda in our state make her a phenomenal candidate.
Right now, huge corporate money is being trucked in to defeat Manka and try to elect her conservative Republican opponent. Republicans want to raise property taxes in Manka’s district, slash services to fight the opioid epidemic, and ignore the homeless crisis. With this race, Democrats can put our state back on track, to improve education and protect our health care.
